Brooklyn Bridge Apartment
LLA combined two apartments in a former 1920s warehouse building on the edge of Brooklyn Bridge Park to create a home with an expansive layout and sweeping skyline views. The resulting open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is spacious and inviting. A pair of staggered steps leads from the kitchen to a raised living/dining area that maximizes iconic city views. The library's large interior window was designed to bring natural light into an adjacent home office. Two-toned wrap-around cabinetry was introduced in the grand master bedroom to provide additional storage. All vintage and contemporary furniture, along with accompanying fabrics, were selected by LLA to produce a whimsical, yet elegant landscape punctuated by bright splashes of color.
