Cobble Hill Townhouse
In the renovation of this 1860s Italianate style townhouse, elements of the traditional layout and detail were restored, while other areas were redesigned to reflect the needs of contemporary living. The configuration of the parlor floor was left intact and its ornate woodwork and plaster molding restored. In addition, LLA created a new mantelpiece and a new bar area that further enhance the design. The garden floor, with its large kitchen, informal dining area and family room was gutted to create a bright open space with views to the garden. The upper levels were rebuilt to accommodate new bedrooms, bathrooms, home offices and storage.
